Eating healthier foods is a common New Year’s goal among the people I know. I found this wonderful resource last week.
Lisa at 100 Days of Real Food provides healthy meal plan and snack ideas, as well as thoughts on restaurants and some general resources.
Definitely check it out, especially if you’re feeling like you want to start eating better but are not sure how/where to start.

Reverb11 has officially become Embrace12. Instead of writing prompts aimed at getting the you to reflect on the past year, this blog is now devoted to providing you, the reader, with tools to make the most of the year ahead.
In addition to sharing resources found around the webz, we’ll be posting tips, quotes, success stories and responses to questions from you all. And for those who really enjoyed the writing prompts, we’ll be doing one monthly.
Our forthcoming posts will be focused on common New Year’s goals - health and fitness, strengthening relationships, managing time and money, building good habits and breaking bad ones, increasing creativity, etc. Have a specific goal you could use some help on? Drop us a message (we’ll happily keep your identity confidential)! Have some advice or resources to share with other readers? Send those as well!
We’d love nothing more than to tailor this to the needs of our readers, so please don’t hesitate to send a message.
We look forward to embracing 2012 with you.

What’s the thing you most want to achieve next year? How do you imagine you’ll feel when you get it? Free? Happy? Complete? Blissful? Write that feeling down. Then, brainstorm 10 things you can do, or 10 new thoughts you can think, in order to experience that feeling today.

I received a message from a “reverber” requesting resources on pacing when attempting to meet goals.
I think one of the best resources for this is Sark’s microvements plan. (The link will open a pdf which explains how micromovements work). The crux of it is this - you decide what the goal is that you want to achieve, and the date by which you want to achieve it, then you break it down into the tiniest pieces that feel realistically achievable.
I hope this helps and I assure you there will be more resources to come this week that hopefully will be usable as well. Please stay tuned.
And again, if you have specific goals you’re working towards, please drop me a message, I have tons of resources I’m ready to share. :)

As promised last week, I am re-posting this. Please message me if you have specific (or general) goals you’d like to achieve but are not sure how to get started. I promise to respect your privacy.

What makes you squirm, looking back at 2011? Write about a moment in which you were uncomfortable, out of your comfort zone, or caught off-guard. Why was it so awkward?

Imagine yourself five years from now. What advice would you give your current self for the year ahead? (Bonus: Write a note to yourself 10 years ago. What would you tell your younger self?)

You talked about ambitions earlier in the month. When it comes to ambitions and aspirations, it’s not about ideas. It’s about making ideas happen. What’s your next step?
